Short Description

DiscoverSUTD is a 4-week long introduction to the SUTD community from 16 September 2024 - 11 October 2024. It is an onboarding event for every incoming batch of Freshmores. There are many parts to it. Introductory sessions, lab visits, supper as well as other parts of this 4 week-long event.

Boilerplate Description

DiscoverSUTD is the SUTD community's very own onboarding programme for each incoming batch of Freshmore. In its 6th year running, this year's rendition will run for 4 weeks from 16 September 2024 - 11 October 2024.

• DiscoverClubs: Aims to bring the cohort together so as to facilitate sharing, and engage students to come down to introductory events in a neutral setting.
• DiscoverProgrammes: Don't pass up this opportunity to hear from the people who created the SUTD degree programmes curriculum, which will be presented as speeches or other activities.
• DiscoverPeople: By encouraging people to talk about their days, hopes, and experiences at SUTD, Supper with Seniors, SUTD Unfiltered and Human Library contributes to the growth of a stronger community.
• DiscoverPlaces: Incoming Freshmores can discover the resources and opportunities around SUTD during Housing session, and Lab sessions.

This event is collaboratively brought to you by the various Clubs, faculty, pillars, departments (which include SUTD Housing) and research laboratories in SUTD.
